There is a person named Sheila Clark, who works for the Department of Education, as well as a person named CCC-SLP. For the past 26 years, she has been a Speech Language Pathologist, working with both children and adults. She enjoys teaching healthcare professionals how to use aholistic approach to clinical care after earning a doctorate in health education. She has worked closely with multiple disciplines to become an advanced practitioners in the specialty areas of neurological disorders, critical care, and the management of patients with tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation.

Ms. Clark works as an SLP on a PRN basis in acute care, outpatient, home care, and subacute care settings. She gives clinical education to Passy-Muir and St. Catherine’s University in Minneapolis. She has served in leadership positions, including supervisor and rehab therapy director, which has given her a unique perspective on the communication and collaborative needs across disciplines.
