She is a Psy.D. Psyche, PLLC is a boutique outpatient therapy practice located in Nashville, Tennessee and Boston, Massachusetts. She is an associate faculty member at the university. Dr. Vaughn is a Board Certified DBT Clinician and conducts Dialectical Behavior Therapy with both adolescents and adults. She is an expert on oppositional behaviors in adolescents.

She implemented formal Prolonged Exposure for female soldiers suffering from Military Sexual Trauma at the Department of Veteran Affairs, as well as for soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. She is involved in the teaching and supervision of DBT for psychology and counseling students, as well as psychiatry residents. A highly rated speaker, Dr. Vaughn has presented DBT workshops around the country for the last seven years. She runs a peer consultation group. She is an expert consultant for a variety of hospitals, schools and clinics.
