Description

There are accreditation statements. The American Osteopathic Association gives accreditation to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of .5 AOA Category 2-A credits, and will report the credits for the extent of the physician’s participation.
There is a planning disclosure. The MAOPS Education Planning Committee does not have financial relationships with any organization that produces, markets, resells, or distributes health care goods or services.
There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA.

The Vice President of General Counsel is Tim Reuschel. Tim earned a degree from Truman State University. He was admitted to the Order of the Coif in 2000 after receiving his legal education at the University of Missouri. Before becoming full-time counsel for HRHS, Tim was a partner in various firms. He has published articles on many topics. Tim was a member of the governing board of HRHS. Tim supervises the Risk Management, Contract Management, Facilities, Health Information Management, Compliance and IT departments as well as providing legal guidance to the CEO, the HRHS Board of Directors and the Medical Staff of Hannibal Regional Hospital. He will serve as President of the Missouri Society of healthcare attorneys in 2019. Tim and his wife, Cara, have four wonderful, but frustrating children.
