Learning Objectives Knowledge of the diagnosis is a must. Current guidelines can be applied for rapid treatment. There are areas of care that need improvement. Improve the emergency department.
There are accreditation statements. The American Osteopathic Association gives accreditation to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1.25 AOA Category 1-A credits, which will be reported with the extent of the physician’s participation.

There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. Dr. Tom Trent completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria after graduating from Oklahoma State University. He is an attending emergency medicine physician at Cox Monett in Monett, Missouri and serves as the Director of Urgent Care, Director of the Emergency Department, Chief of Medical Staff, and Director of Time Critical Diagnosis.

The assistant medical director is a core faculty member of the health system. She is a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee, the Program Evaluation Committee, and the Trauma Committee for the organization. The American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine certified Dr. Wright.
