The most common falls include backward rolls, forward rolls and breakfalls/highfalls. Bruce Bookman, 5th Degree Black Belt and Chief Instructor of the SeattleHolistic Center teaches falling techniques that can be adapted to any style of Aikido. The presentation of Ukemi shows how to avoid injuries. Bookman Sensei talks about his interpretation of falling. The purpose behind training is given a better understanding by these insights.
