We are now dealing with longer range attacks and counter them with our own long range attacks, which makes the sixth section Chi Sao more enjoyable.

The Lap-Fak drill helps the student to learn how to use the back, shoulder and arms together.

The counter defense is similar to a Fak Sao in that we will be discharging his energy with a Tan Sao, Lap Sao and counter Fak Sao application. It can be used in a fixed position or it can be used in a drill.

We will deal with incoming attacks where your opponent will try to take the place of your body forcing you to deal with this pressure with the appropriate footwork while simultaneously discharging his attack with your arms and body.
