I have seen similar patterns in the modern human with over 20,000 hours of movement coaching experience. We tend to become chair shaped or cell phone shaped with tight upper back and shoulders. Whatever is left over may or may not go to self care because we tend to prioritize our work and families first. With the epidemic of stress related dis-ease, we need more conscious coaching that challenges our spatial awareness and helps us tap into what is known as mental fortitude. The state is flow state.
According to research, Flow state is the most healing place for the human mind to make long term sustainable behavioral change. Most people don’t know how to get that effect on their own. Until Steel Mace Vinyasa.
Lvl 1 Foundations is a part of Steel Mace Vinyasa. There is an online guide to training in all planes of movement, learning to stabilization first, then progressing up to dynamic movement, Torque development and handling the steel mace with maximum proprioceptive awareness.
We emphasize skill development and progression from simple movement to more complex movement. Steel Mace Vinyasa is both fun and challenging, and will help you condition your movement patterns first and follow it up with a yoga sequence integrating the steel mace into your actual Flow. A similar unweighted flow that feels effortless, graceful and powerful is the final component.

Each of the 6 workouts consists of 4-5 exercises demonstrating alignment and expert coaching. There is a bonus video in each workout with the full circuit completed with 2 minutes of work to 30 seconds of rest. Before moving the loaded & unloaded flow, we recommend completing the practice round, followed by 1-2 rounds of conditioning.
After completing your practice round of exercises, you are ready to move into the weighted Flow with the Mace. The power of maximum power recruitment in that weighted flow will make your final yoga flow feel effortless, almost like you are flying.
The Steel Mace Vinyasa Conditioning exercises build on complexity, layer components of mills, drop swings and very dynamic movement, and some may take time and practice to master. You may even want to start with a 5 lbs mace at first.
Wh How does the Steel Mace work?
The Steel Mace is a tool that was used to strengthen warriors for battle. As modern day warriors, we need a tool that helps us access our true power as humans. Our ancestors used clubs and other tools to chop wood for fire, provide protection, and make shelter. When training movement patterns, not just yoga, something changes in our mind. We experience total presence and a deeper connection with our body and breath when we conjure up our own inner warrior. Anyone can access mobility, strength and Flow state in their workouts with Steel Mace Vinyasa. You will be challenged, you will grow, and you will feel your body and mind shift with every workout.
How long has yoga been around?
I spent the last 6 years teaching level 1 and 2 seminars around the world after founding a comprehensive system integrating strength and conditioning with yoga. My goal as a coach of coaches is to give my instructors a blue print to integrate load into the movement practice safely and efficiently. Steel Mace Vinyasa is a culmination of my education, experience and advanced yoga teacher training into an easy to follow progression that will take anyone to the next level. You will learn to move better and broaden your tool box. It is plain and simple.
What works with Steel Mace Vinyasa?
Follow the program step by step, mastering the videos and workouts in order and you will be guided to conditioning first then flow.
Steel Mace Vinyasa exercises are demonstrated and practiced in individual video tutorials before being conditioned with a tabata style timer. Using the 2 minutes of work 30 seconds of rest timing allows our nervous system to create a road map of where to apply strength in the shoulder and deep hip rotators. The combination of your is trained by Steel Mace Vinyasa. There are shoulders, core and glutes. Weighted flow in every single exercise. People with minimal yoga experience will see a huge increase in their performance.
What if I don’t do yoga? Is the program still good for me?
Union is what yoga means. It’s not about the pose, it’s about unifying the body, mind and breath. Training with a steel mace will speed up your understanding of yoga based movement patterns, enhance your breath control, and help you speed up the conditioning and mobility adaptation in your nervous system.
Steel Mace Vinyasa is about creating strength, stability and grace in all planes so that you can get the most out of your training. The Warrior poses help open the hips so that we can access full range of motion, and thus develop more power, because we have more range available. Control of our movement patterns comes with more power. You will connect with your inner warrior when you train the Steel Mace Vinyasa workouts.

To grow, evolve and elevate in our understanding of body and mind connection, we need to understand where we leak power. The Steel Mace Vinyasa practice will help you identify power leaks, dead zones, mobility impairments and fear reactivity in a very safe way.
