NAPSOUNDS – POWER NAP AUDIOS
Napsounds is a repository of relaxing audio files. A 20-minute track is generated every day in the electronic, classic, and nature sounds category. You can listen directly from the web site, download the track as an mp3 or subscribe via RSS. The tracks use a combination of neural linguistic programming, binaural beats, and white noise generation layers into the ambient sounds, and a very deep Donald LaFontaineesque male voice that speaks at the beginning and end of the tracks urging you to relax and then gently awake. It was helpful to have a human voice at the end of the track to wake me up because I found the voice to be initially disconcerting. It would have been easy for me to sleep through the cricket chirps.
