In this video training, I teach someone who had no domain name and no web hosting account how to set them up with both, installed and configured them. I set up the rss feed with FeedBurner and configured all the other necessary settings. All of this was captured in full glory with both high quality audio and video so that you can follow along and do the same thing. There is a bonus content about FTP basics. If you are using the Thesis Theme, it is important that you go into your hosting account and inside the directory where yourWordPress is installed, you will see a folder calledWP-Content. There should be a folder calledThemes inside that folder. You should have a folder called Thesis_XX inside that folder. There is a folder called Custom-Sample inside that folder. This video should help if you don’t know how to use a FTP client.

In order to help you understand what is happening in this video, I have a Godaddy Account where I manage all my domain names. I think I will eventually move all of these domains to my BlueHost account. It is easy for me to manage all my domain names in one place.

Many of the sites that I run are hosted by a Godaddy account. I refuse to add any new sites to my Goaddy hosting account because of the reliability issues I have had with this hosting account.

I set up my own BlueHost Hosting account to launch the VirtualAssistantPodcast.com. I found BlueHost to have the best customer service and server speeds when it came to making changes to my account because I had worked with many hosting providers. The video demonstration will show the speed. I launched this new site in under 12 minutes.

I moved this site off of Godaddy.com and over to my BlueHost hosting account in the past. I thought I should have recorded a video about how I did that. I decided to show you how easy it is to add a new domain and website on a BlueHost Hosting account when I created this new site.
