Product creators and service providers are in need of attention.

Don’t chase after high rankings with sites. No one. I want to land on.

If a page took. 10 minutes to put it all together. I think we can all agree that the search engine didn’t do a good job after outsourcing to a guy who barely speaks English.

I am not pointing this out because I love the search engines or because I am bothered by the internet. I am telling you how it is.

The website www.knee-pain-treatment-x.com is on the hit list. A guy who barely speaks English doesn’t provide a lot of value. It took 10 minutes to create an article with no real references.

Let’s be real here…

The site made it to the top of the results page through a trick. . The search engines will try to figure out the trick and make sure that page doesn’t rank high.

They don’t want their visitors to find it. That makes the person look bad. They will try to bury it.

If you want to know what type of site is on the search engine hit list, here are some definitions that have been copied from Google. Thin affiliates and doorway pages.

There are a lot of thin affiliate sites. These sites collect pay-per-click revenue by sending visitors to the sites of affiliate programs. There is little or no value-added content. To the user.

There are doorway pages. Large sets are typically what they are. The pages are poor quality. Each page is designed for a specific phrase.

Thin affiliate and doorway pages are considered an out-right violation of webmaster guidelines by the search engine giant.

I want to be clear, I am not the internet police.

I don’t care if you did this. I don’t care if this is the type of thing you are doing now. I don’t care if you’re trying to get more sites to rank high.

There is nothing morally wrong with this.

I think this is a problem for the company. They have a lot of smart people and the last thing we need to worry about is them.

My loyalty is with people who run online businesses.

I don’t like seeing people spend their time and money in the wrong direction. That is what is happening.

There are online courses that teach you how to make money. They are teaching people how to build sites that will be labeled as either a thin affiliate or doorway page. The vast majority of them are teaching the very thing that is on the road to getting canned.

It is pretty upsetting.

Most of the product creators are doing it because they know they will sell more courses if they focus on fast and easy. It is easy to create thin affliate or doorway sites. They have names for these that disguise the fact that you are creating junk mail.

If they do it this way, there will be more money in it. Even if it doesn’t work, Fast and easy always sell more than anything else.

Many of these product creators are ethical, but they don’t know how to build any other type of site. They don’t know how to build anything other than a low quality, slapped together site if they’re not out to get your money.

Quality, comprehensive information on your site is what you need to get lasting traffic from search engines.

You need to build an authority site. It is not a matter of choice anymore. There is no choice.

Either you build a real site that offers value or you will likely find your site buried at the bottom of the results.

Thin affiliates and doorway pages are not just low value sites, they are also violating their quality guidelines. If you want their traffic, you have to follow their rules.

We don’t have any choice but to follow their rules because 80% of the total search engine share is wrapped up with them.

They would like to see you go if you aren’t giving something of value.

The tricks are getting harder.

Webmasters saw their rankings plummet in 2011.

I am afraid that that is just the beginning.

You have to make a decision.

You can try to trick the search engines into ranking your made-for-advertising sites high.

An actual Authority can be built on a topic.

It’s possible to offer something of value to your site. Should be. You should be at the top of the search engines.

That is the best way to make sure it stays there.

You do not need a site with 100’s of pages to achieve this. You can reach Authority status in a subset of the market with as little as 10 pages.

It is possible to have comprehensive, well written articles full of accurate information based on time-tested research strategies.

It is not hard.

It is definitely not rocket science.

It isn’t something that will take a year to put together.

You can start seeing results in a few weeks.

You aren’t going to see good results by Scraping Content, Autoblogging, Spinning Content, or Mass Producing Low Quality.

If you build the type of site search engines don’t like and then think all your traffic is going to come through high rankings, it’s a big mistake.

How can that be a good thing?

Search engineers are working around the clock to find ways to get traffic.

It defies logic.

I don’t want you to end up in that trap.

A lot of people are heading down that path.

Most of what is being taught will lead you down that path.

The high turn-over rate for online businesses is a result of this type of misleading information.
