Juxtapad is more than just a trick. It makes it possible to perform many effects. Imagine being able to make any word, number, picture, or accessory you want from a stick. No special pens, no special inks.
There are several routines and ideas in Juxtapad. This is my favorite!
It goes like this.
A spectator says stop when a book is flipped through. They are asked to remember the page number and the first word on it. The book is on the table. There is a mini sticky note pad. You only have to write down one word and one page number.
They are asked to name the page and their word for the first time. The word and page number are revealed by turning over the pad. Wait, there is more! This is simply not possible.
The spectator has placed the pad on his hand. You say you will make their word disappear. The writing is gone as the pad is turned over. Are they able to remember their page number? The book is now open. The scrutiny with their word and page number is now on that page.
The above routine is a complete Knockout.
