You can learn to use the tarot as a tool of guidance, as a tool of initiation, self-revelation and self-study, because it is a tool for self-study. You can learn a lot about yourself, not by studying it, but by using it as a tool that will help you get to know yourself better, not that the tarot itself will do anything to you. If you have both the art and the science, it will serve you well.

Introduction

Several tarot decks were displayed during a February 2013 workshop at I.D.H.H.B., which was painted by E.J. Gold. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the tarot, participants at the workshop were given the opportunity to create their own tarot decks. The Unspecified Pet tarot deck was being shown before E.J. began this talk.

Draw and paint 80 images to make a tarot deck. You decide what to put in, where to put it, and how to put it in, and at the same time, maintain some sort of convention within each suit, a convention within the structure of the design and a convention within the individual designation.

There is a similarity between the cards. There is a theme for the deck. There is a difference between the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Each suit has a different theme. All the Queens in the different suits are related in one way or another.

The cards in E.J.’s tarot decks are meant to serve as a memory aid, so he tries to keep them as eye-friendly as possible. The card reminds you that a situation is present at that location in the reading and active at that point in the reading. When you look at a card in a certain position, you get the sense that it is just one piece in a larger puzzle.

When all the pieces of the puzzle are in place, the tarot images act as a switch that allows you to go beyond the puzzle and read the direct transmission of the story.

Some people think a tarot reading is a mental activity. You never give a reading. The bane of education is citation. It is parroting. There is a tendency to roboticize any real tool. The psychic functioning of the brain is involved in tarot reading.

A good tarot reading is multi-level. At least one of the higher centrums should be addressed. The purpose of the decks is to address the three lower centrums and the fourth, which is the gateway to the higher centrums.

The centrum is stimulated by each card. The lower or motor is stimulated by the wand. The emotional centrum is triggered by the Cups. The intellectual or analytical brain is triggered by the Swords. The higher centrums can be accessed through the Pentacles.

You can use the tarot card to get rid of a knee-jerk reaction in a centrum. The vision of that card causes it. If it is a Cups card, it will cause an emotional response. The centrum will respond to that card.

To find out about your deck of choice, you need to examine each card one by one. It will take some time. Don’t look at the cards in this way.

You can memorize the card, but you can alsogrok it. You can get a sense of what that card means. You can draw on your own experience when it comes up in a reading. You can develop your own style of tarot reading.

The standard deck of 52 playing cards has clubs, hearts, diamonds and spades in it. The Page is added to the Knight, Queen and King in the tarot.

The Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana are related. Major means significant. It is referred to as minor, less significant. The Major Arcana has more power than the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana reads like hours and minutes on a scale of time.

Early radio had coarse tuning and fine tuning. There are two things you need to do in order to tune in a station. The coarse tuning of the beacon will get you there. The Prosperity Path Orbs can be used to refine and adjust the Matrix. That will help you fine- tune the stations you receive.

There is more to this than just the coarse and fine-tuning analogy. The beacon is acting as a communication device. The Matrix is similar to the video game, Diablo 2, in that it assigns all your skill points and character points. That is where they are assigned. The power behind it is you, and the power behind it is served by the beacon. You cannot listen to a radio unless you have a radio.
