Uh-huh.
We are getting closer to the crux of this program and what distinguishes it from your typical diet program, which focus almost entirely on external issues (i.e., which foods to eat and when, which exercises to perform, for how long, etc, etc).

It never lasts when we try to change ourselves from the outside. We lose weight to gain it back. We might get motivated for a short time, but it doesn’t last. We might temporarily change our habits through self-restraint, but individual will power is not enough to keep us on the right path for a long time.
Although weight loss will be a side effect, the Transformation Solution is not really a diet program. It is an 18-week journey of learning, accountability, forgiveness, acceptance, giving and catharsis. If that is even possible. It is about reaching inside yourself and getting rid of the internal problems that are preventing external changes.
It is a combination of better self help programs with a smart diet and exercise plan.
There are plenty of practical things to do. To give you an idea of the scope of the program, I will provide you with a brief outline of each of the 18 chapters, which are labeled as assignments and are to be completed at a rate of one per week. Each ends with a series of actions you need to take to complete the assignment.
- Chapter 1: The Base and the Summit: Determine where you are, and where you are going. Set definitive goals.
- Chapter 2: Exercise Rx: No surprise here—exercise is important.
- Chapter 3: Right Nutrition: Yes, you have to eat properly. Here’s how you do it.
- Chapter 4: The Community Connection: Being part of like community will help you achieve your goals. Become active in the Transformation community (membership is included in your purchase).
- Chapter 5: Lifetime Intentions: What is my purpose, and what am I here to accomplish?
- Chapter 6: Healthy Spaces Makeover: Time to throw out the junk food and stock up on healthy stuff.

- Chapter 8: The Big Forgive: Let go of grievances that hurt you, as well as increase your risks of certain diseases.

There is a lot of substance in the Transformation book. The entire section of scientific references used to support Bill’s assertions is included in The Transformation Solution. It was a decent read and I never found it to be long-winded or boring.
Since this is a PDF file and not a hard cover book, you will want to print it off and put it in a binder for easy reference.
If you prefer to listen than read, each chapter can be downloaded as a mp3 file. You will get a success journal to document your progress, access to the Transformation community, and numerous video and audio bonuses.
Is BillPhillips’ solution for you?
It depends.
If you want a conventional diet program, eat so much of this and so much of that, do this exercise and then that one and so on, this is probably not the program for you.
If you have been down the path of diet and exercise many times and have never experienced lasting success, I will recommend this program to you. It has the potential to make a difference in people’s lives.
