ART SIMPSON – PHANTOM OF THE PIT

Over the past three decades, I have been asked to give a few secrets of trading to others. I don’t want my picture front and center. I don’t want my name to be a household word. I don’t want to face the 5% of people who would cry foul in giving to others what has been given to me. I am in a position to acknowledge my debt if I can save the grief of some of the trading torture. Knowledge is the most important element in success, according to most traders. The ability to change behavior and correct knowledge are the most important parts of successful trading. Correct knowledge does not project proper execution of a perfect trading plan. In three decades of learning correct trading knowledge and behavior modification, I have included in my trading plans two rules that give me the ability to change my thinking and behavior. Successful trading requires both rules. I will share my insight on these rules after being urged by a long-time trading friend. I am not a writer or an artist. I want to give insight into what is required in successful trading. If we would do it on my terms, this project was agreeable to me. We came to an agreement that it would be presented the way I wanted it to be presented. I would remain in my own privacy. I don’t give my name but I approve writings about my trading insights. You could call mePhantom of the Pits. Your success in trading will be up to you. Phantom is a shadow in your success. I want it to be that way.
