Balancetrader is a trading course, a system and a chat room all rolled up into one package. The focus is on teaching a trading methodology based on Auction Market Theory using price and volume profiles to identify high probability day and swing trades in equities index futures.

Quality trading is what Balancetrader is all about. Many trades need to be taken in order to do well in this business, according to most traders. The opposite of this is what the Balancetrader methodology focuses on. Our goal is to identify asymmetric opportunities in order to maximize our return in comparison to risk. Determine the market conditions.

Different trading techniques perform differently. When market conditions are best for our trading strategy, we want to trade. It is amazing how many traders and system vendors don’t do anything for this in their strategy. Pure technical trading systems fail because they try to apply static indicators to dynamic markets which are constantly changing. Balancetrader distinguishes itself by assessing the market as it is changing and continually establishing new analysis while making trading decisions based on dynamic variables.

There is support and resistance.

Market generated data is used to identify key support and resistance levels. Many traders don’t implement S&R into their trading strategy. The last thing a trader wants to do is take a long signal into resistance or a short signal into support. Balancetrader uses proprietary methods for determining support and resistance levels. When you learn this topic on your own, you will be amazed. You will not believe how accurate your levels are in the beginning. Increased ability to determine S&R levels will be a key element to maximizing your risk to reward ratio.

There is a trend analysis.

I think you should ask yourself if your current method of trend analysis is really effective. You cannot deal with a dynamic market with static indicators if you are using a momentum technical indicator to do this. Balancetrader adjusts its trend identification to market conditions. You will never use moving averages again after getting a taste of how we do it.

Balancetrader uses price patterns to identify trading opportunities. These patterns are not programmed into software because they are based on a dynamic view of price and volume. When recognizing these patterns, it might seem awkward, but eventually they will become second nature. It shouldn’t take too long to study them.

Prerequisites.

Balancetrader isn’t a black box system. You will learn how to read market structure. You will learn how to make supportive trading decisions. No technical indicators or timing techniques are included. Some traders choose not to use indicators at all while others use Balancetrader to filter their technical system. You should use a timing strategy in the beginning to enter and exit trades. I prefer using the Watts scalping system and do a mixture of both. Despite its name, it is a very effective trend trading methodology which can be used for all timeframes.
