The indicator will identify the next five support lines below and the next five resistance lines above.
The Sorcerer’s Resistance is a great indicator, saving time for the seasoned chartist and highlighting S/R areas on all time frames for the less experienced.
This indicator is a companion to my AutoWave for ThinkScript indicator. This is a stand-alone indicator and not required for it to function.
The next five areas of potential support and potential resistance will be plotted by this indicator. The closest is determined by price level rather than time. Some time before the most recent reversal, the closest price level may be based on a price reversal.
The areas of potential support or resistance may be determined by the candle bodies.
The wavelength may be adjusted by the user. The distance between reversal tops and reversal bottoms is determined by the wavelength. A wavelength of 20 would mean that a high must be higher than the 20 candles before and the 20 candles after it in order to be considered a reversal top. Smaller price reversals will help identify potential support and resistance lines. Bigger price reversals will identify those areas based on a longer wavelength.
The user can easily change the colors of the lines from the Globals section of the study settings panel.
This indicator can be used with any instrument.
