Jeffrey Rabin. An attorney licensed in Illinois in 1980 has focused his law practice on representation of disabled individuals seeking benefits under the Social Security Act. Mr. Rabin has represented clients at all levels of the administrative process and in the federal courts. In 2012 Mr. Rabin joined the Board of Directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and in 2016 became the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. He was elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County in August of 2015. Donna Shalala was the Secretary of Health and Human Services in 2000. He was the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Chemical Sensitivity Coalition of Chicago for many years. Jeff is a member of the Advocacy Committee of the Northern Illinois Multiple Sclerosis Society. Mr. Rabin is a member of the Board of Directors of the synagogue. The Volunteer Advocate of the Year award was given to Mr. Rabin by the Lupus Foundation of Illinois. He testified before Congress on Social Security issues and was featured in a 60 Minutes story on this area of the law. There have been articles published in a variety of publications. The groups Mr. Rabin has spoken to include the American Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Gilda’s Club, The Arthritis Foundation, the National Kidney Foundation, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and many others. The Principal of PR Legal Marketing is Mr. Rabin. He helps small and medium sized law firms with their marketing and office operations. Jeff received his Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1977.

Dr. Siegel is a doctor. She is a board-certified rheumatologist who provides treatment for all autoimmune conditions. She is able to refer patients to clinical trials of promising new medications being conducted by her IBJI rheumatology colleagues.

When she was six years old, Dr. Siegel wanted to be a doctor. rheumatology is a field of medicine in which doctors and patients work together as a team. Approachable and easy to talk to, Dr. Siegel stresses building a partnership with her patients, many of whom have difficult to diagnose conditions. She listens to them to understand their condition. She can identify the best strategies for each patient if curative treatments aren’t available. Dr. Siegel spent 15 years as a member of the faculty at the Chicago Medical School, where she was chief of rheumatology and assistant dean of education.
