Kathleen M. Dugan is the Chief Administrator of the Cuyahoga County Law Library and the Librarian and Secretary of the Cleveland Law Library. She came to the Law Library after working at the CWRU School of Law Library. In addition to her administrative duties, Ms. Dugan performs reference and research services for the Library’s patrons and conducts training for Library members and staff. She has written a chapter on law libraries for an online book by the Ohio State Bar Association. OfficeKeeper. . A 1984 graduate of John Carroll University, Ms. Dugan obtained a B.A. in English, a minor in Political Science and a concentration in business. In 1987, she obtained her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she was the Managing Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review. She practiced civil litigation for 13 years at a small Cleveland law firm. Ms. Dugan taught paralegal classes at both Notre Dame College of Ohio and the American Institute for Paralegal Studies. In 1999 she went to Kent State University to get a graduate appointment and finish her masters degree in library science. She is the Secretary of the Ohio Consortium of County Law Libraries. She is on the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Justice For All Committee.
