Judith S. Beck is a doctor. The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Philadelphia is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of training programs to health and mental health professionals worldwide. She received a degree. A degree. A degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982. She has written over 100 chapters and articles and several books, including Cognitive Therapy for Challenging Problems, which has been translated into over 20 languages, and books for consumers on a CBT approach to weight loss and maintenance. She divides her time between teaching, clinical work, supervision, administration, program development and consultation.
