The lovers pose is one of the most beautiful couple interventions. It is like a surgical table for therapists to extract and repair deep, implicit memory issues between partners and original childhood caregivers. Each partner is assigned a role by the therapist for the therapeutic direction. For lovers holding one another, it is also the caregivers-infant pose, Piet pose, and inner child pose. Instructions for getting into and out of the pose will be provided in the demonstration.
The educational objectives are listed.
- List at least four different ways to cast partners.
- Articulate the three steps for getting partners into and out of the exercise.
- Demonstrate how to get partners to get into the pose.
