Dr. Koronkiewicz has been at the hospital for 25 years. He has been a member of the IOA since 1994. He has been on the IOA Board of Trustees since 2002. The J.B. Kinsinger Plaque is the IOA’s highest honor for outstanding service to the osteopathic profession and his community. He is a delegate to the AOA, a Board Examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. In his current position, Dr. Koronkiewicz serves as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, arthritic conditions, and general orthopedic problems. He joined the staff at the hospital in 1993. He has been president of the medical staff, chairman of the medical staff quality committee, medical director of quality, and the physician advisor for utilization review. He received a master’s degree in healthcare quality and safety management from Thomas Jefferson University.
