Description
Objectives for learning.
- Discuss the current diagnostic criteria for Fibromyalgia.
- Explain the causes and risk factors of the disease.
- There are measures to prevent the progression of Fibromyalgia.
- Discuss the physical examination findings of the disease.
- Discuss the treatment goals of the various types of techniques used in the management of the Fibromyalgia patient.
A maximum of 1.25 hours of continuing medical education can be provided by the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. AOA Category 1-A credits will be reported based on the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant doesn’t receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA.

Karen is a professor at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Snider is a board certified doctor. She completed her residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center after earning her doctor of osteopathic medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. The American Academy of Osteopathy and the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators gave Dr. Snider fellowship awards.
