Dr. Bedi is the Chair of the Department of Specialty Medicine. He completed his residency at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons after graduating from Midwestern University. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the Women’s Health Institute of Illinois. Dr. Bedi has held many leadership positions. He was the Director of OB/Gyn at Van Diest Medical Center. He has been a member of many organizations throughout his career, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He was a state delegate in Iowa and a delegate from Illinois to the AOA Congress. Special interests of Dr. Bedi include Medical Education, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Urogynecology. During his fellowship, he began teaching medical students and residents. Prior to his arrival at California Health Sciences University, he held academic teaching positions at Midwestern University, Des Moines University and the University of Illinois, Chicago.
