There is a Psychiatry Residency program in Joplin, Missouri. He has treated patients with mental illness and substance abuse issues at the center. He is also the Medical Director of Addiction Services at Ozark Center. He graduated from Pakistan’s Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences. He completed a fellowship in addiction Psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine. He is a board certified Psychiatrist. The Harold I. Kaplan Memorial Award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions in the field of teaching and education. He published peer reviewed articles and co-authored book chapters. He is a Prescriber Consultant for the SAMSHA STR-TA Consortium. He has been invited to speak to the media. Opioid use disorder can be treated. . He completed a research project about improving resident wellbeing. The Psychiatry Residency has a yoga training experiment. The center is at Ozark Center. He was the PI for the KCU-GME Consortium funded project to improve their health.
