Description

Summarize the importance of preparation for wilderness excursions and outdoor adventures, review the importance of bystander preparation, describe the role of physicians and other healthcare providers in community/patient education, and develop a strategy for empowering patients.

T. The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits.

There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant doesn’t receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA.
