Some tricks to keep your conversation going, important preparation points, and the foundations of what will make it easy for you to keep talking are included in the remaining toolset.

If you are having problems keeping the conversation going, there is a lot of information you can use in this section. More effective action is less complexity.

Follow Through and Practical Exercises – Not Overlooked

You are given exercises to put what you are learning to work for you. The exercises are short and you need to do them to get the value from this course. The focus is on getting the job done without having to think too much. It is a good thing and you will like the results easier implementation will bring for you.

There is a template of how to put everything together with clarity in part 3. This part was not followed through well. The course would have benefited from that structure at the end, as Part 3 gets sidetracked into teaching you more about chemistry and giving you examples. It would have left you with less to think about. It is likely that you will have to think about where you are taking conversations in order to get the best results.

Some examples of lack of preparation are where he makes outside references but isn’t sure if he’s attributing them to the right person, relating commonly held scientific beliefs that have no real grounds and making up a routine on the spot rather than taking specific examples that he has used in field

The quality of the course would have been improved if Jon had put more effort into preparing it.

What is lacking in preparation and research is made up for with advice that is clearly grounded in a lot of experience. The parts that are not prepared are the most important and you are not losing much.
