About the author.

The founder of the non-profit Be the Change Foundation is a bestselling author. Growing up on three different continents gave her a unique perspective on what it means to be human. There was a stark contract between people’s outer material wealth and their inner state as a small child. In her early career, she worked as a self-help and personal development teacher and coach. She has worked in Germany, Indonesia, Australia, Israel, Thailand, Costa Rica, Italy, Greece and Sweden. She ran her own practice in Germany. She has had many opportunities to deepen her understanding of what works and what doesn’t because of her clients. The cultural evolution currently under way has led to a new focus for Vivian. She shifted her focus away from personal work to focus on systemic changes. As long as the system in which an individual is embedded is not functioning, the level of health and inner wealth the individual can attain is limited. She set up the non-profit Be the Change Foundation for Cultural Change in her native Germany, which is a partner of the Pachamama Alliance and offers educational events to raise awareness about ecological and social justice issues. When she isn’t traveling to hold talks or working on her next book, she works as a trainer and coach. She accompanies businesses and executives in cultural change processes. The first of her books has been translated into English, Italian and Spanish. A passionate mother of two sons, she has extensive professional and non-profit engagements. She lives in Germany and Italy with her family.
